Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I currently have a desktop pc running xp and a laptop which was upgraded to windows vista ultimate.
I no longer use the laptop and want to test windows 7 out on it to see if I like it. If I do this will that free up the activation key I used on my laptop and let me use it to upgrade my desktop to vista ultimate?
Any help would be great!
Thanks!
you need to see if your ISP will support the win 7 rc version. some do not. then contact microsoft. for instructions, they have a support section.
no that key is registered to the computer it’s on! windows 7 isn’t due out till October this year anything else is a test version
If Vista came with the laptop, no. That’s an OEM version, so it’s only usable on that computer. You can’t have it reset.
no. windows 7 will be installed "next to" vista which means at boot you simply select which operating system you want to use. Windows 7 will not affect vista at all. plus im not sure license keys are transferable.
