Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
If I take English Lit. AP, Physics AP & French AP, will the preparation for the AP exams be good enough for the SAT subject tests in those areas? Would I need to learn new stuff for the SAT subject tests and would I need a tutor?
I’ve never had a tutor for an SAT Subject Test. I took honors Chemistry before taking the chem SAT and got 800, as did 4 other kids in my class. I took Ap Physics B, and without knowing I would actually take the test, and just walking in test day deciding after the Math Level 2 test that I should take physics, I got an 800 (on both the math and physics). I have only done math/science SAT IIs, so that’s all I really know. I know that the curves make them easy to do well on. Also, I mean I got perfect scores, so I would not say that you need to learn additional material for the exams. If getting a tutor would make you feel more comfortable, go for it, but they can get pricy. It would be better to get a tutor or spend the money for a course for the real SAT.
