Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I was going to buy a new computer but i don’t know what to buy Laptop or desktop. I use a computer for school, sometimes games, videos, browse the web, other things to. i want something that is fast, and doesn’t take a long time to load because i have high speed internet. But a laptop is small and dose not take up alot of room. But desktops screens r bigger and nicer. For laptops u have to buy a wireless router, and wireless printer. Not for desktop….i have previously owned a desktop and hav a printer ,So, what to buy???

Desktops are easier to upgrade and repair. They also cost less for the same level of computer (it costs money to shrink all that stuff down). All in one machines are more expensive for the same reason. You do not need a wireless printer or modem with a laptop, they have the same ports a desktop has. But since a laptop is expected to be on the go, they build in wireless capability. You already have a monitor, so it’s one less thing you need.

    Hope this helps

You can get a better desktop than laptop for the same money, but if you want portability, then go for the laptop.

I was in your position once, I chose desk. Biggest mistake of my life so far. Trust me get a laptop, here is the perfect version for you: it is a dell S17-162B It is FAST, it has 3g of ram, 350g of memory, it has a huge screen so its like desktop, you can hook it up to internet like it was a desktop (with cord) and I think your printer will work with it too! the only bad thing about this laptop is that it is heavyish and big. It will be one of the fastest and it will be mobile for school. And it only costs $750 as for desktop will be $600ish plus the screen, keyboard, and mouse.

I suggest that you get a laptop. And unless you are wanting to play high-end pc games that require big-time graphics, or unless yu need the high-end graphics for designing or graphing, i would also recommend to you to look into getting a nice touchscreen laptop. Touchscreens are great for school. And my brand suggestions are Toshiba, Dell, or Fujitsu, with Fujitsu being the number one spot. I have never had or used a Toshiba, but I do wnat one of them as my nexxt laptop PC. And Dell laptops, despite any controversy statements, are awesome. I have a Dell Inspiron 1520, and it has everything. 4gb RAM, Nvidia 256MB dedicated graphics, 200Gb 7200 RPM hard drive, dvd burner, wifi, WWAN. I also have my newest laptop, a Fujitsu Lifebook T1010. This little 13.3" touchscreen laptop is damn awesome. I just upgraded the RAM and hard drive in it. Now it has 4gb DDR3 1066Mhz RAM and Seagates extremely fast and quiet 320GB 7200 RPM hard drive. And I absolutely love both of these. I also have am older Dell M140 XPS laptop, and with it being 4 years old, is still a serious performer. But, whatever you do, Please stay away from Sony. Sony is a crooked company and they do Not honor their warranties. I have a little Sony Vaio UX380N also, I won’t go into the long details of it and Sony, but, for all humanity’s sakes, don’t buy Sony. You will regret it if you do. Hope this helps.
