Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I haven’t taken the SATs yet, and I want to score at least 2000. I know I can easily achieve 1900, but I want to challenge myself.
I recently came to the US from Australia and as the teaching styles are quite different, it was a bit hard for me to adjust, particularly in math. If the test prep book explains mathematical concepts thoroughly, that would be extremely helpful.
Thanks in advance! ![]()
You must, I repeat, you must buy College Board’s Official Book if you want to do well. The main reason is to practice the tests they include since they are close to the real test. I am not sure what sections you will need to improve, but different books help different people.
For the SAT, Get the college boards official SAT study guide. It has 10 actual previous SAT tests to practice, but It does not have full explanations on how to do the problems. You need to get the book Answers and Explanations 2nd edition by Peter Tanguay for those. (green on cover not orange.) It has complete explanations on how to do all the questions and is especially helpful with the math. I did it and got a 2100
good luck.
