Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

i heard both good and bad things about the college board sat book and mcgraw-hill sat book. which is better?

If you need to review the content on the SAT, the McGraw-Hill book is my favorite. It is extremely thorough, and does a good job of focusing on the reasoning skills you need to do well on the test.

For most of my students, I pair this with the Princeton Review 11 SATs book for more practice. I’m not a fan of Princeton Review’s strategies, but they write great practice tests.

I have a love-hate relationship with the collegeboard book. On the one hand, it’s the only book written by the test makers. I find the chapter about the essay particularly helpful. However, the big problem with the college board book is that there are no explanations, which can make it hard to work on your own. (If I use this both with my students, I save it for the work we do together – I rarely assign anything from this book for homework, for that very reason.)

Barron’s "how to prepare for the SAT" worked for me. I got a really good score after preparing with that book for 2 weeks.

    Try Princeton’s Review
