Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I’m a sophomore and I’m planning on taking SAT classes. I don’t know which to choose, Kaplan, Princeton Review or some other prep. I’m planning on starting this Summer. Please tell me which one would be the most effective.

There are probably many good tutoring agencies in your local area that will give you more personalized attention than the large corporations like Princeton and Kaplan. Many times your high school guidance counselor will have a list of approved tutors.

The best books to study the SAT are the Official College Board’s Study guide, and "Answers and Explanations" by Peter Tanguay. Answers has the complete solutions to the eight SAT tests in the Study guide. Good luck.

I know that for the ACT, some of my friends weren’t satisfied with their scores so they went to Sylvan Learning Center. It’s pretty expensive, but it upped their score 4 points.

Great you thinking ahead of time. Which ever you chose you will have a headstart. I’m a junior and I’m going to take my SAT pretty soon (March) and I didn’t study yet. I need to buy a book. o_0 But remember you have two tries.

i believe that the princeton review is better because they claim that their tutoring increases your score on the SAT by at least 300 points..
