Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I can’t decide between the book from Barron’s or the book from the Research and Education Association? they’re both around the same price, the barron’s has 8 sample tests and the other has 6. The research and education association one can come with a CD though. Are CDs helpful for these test (we don’t take the actual test on a computer)? If anyone has used either please help me decide….thanks

Barrrons is the BEST. Although it is known for overpreparing, it helps you a LOT. The first time my friend took a practice test (from the official SAT subject study book) she got a 650. But after studying the Barrorns book, she ended up with a 790. I didnt study for the test, but i can tell you that barrons is really good because i used it to study for the AP exam and they told me stuff i had never heard of in class.

REA is more in-depth, but Barron’s is better if you just want to quickly review before the test.
