if i dont have enough money to afford a tutor, what are some alternatives to studying and still scoring well?

Get the princeton or kaplan sat subject bio book from either your library or a bookstore
You don’t need a tutor I recommend getting a SAT 2 book for bio, even you can’t afford it get from the library (I like Barrons). Good luck I took it a week and 3 days ago it was ok but I recommend Molcular.
