Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
i heard college board and princeton review is good but idk which one to get! i am a freshman but want to start studying ahead of time so i can get a great score, thanks!
Get the Princeton Review and Kaplan study guides they both help a lot and I got a 2300 on the SAT so yeah get either one of those 2 or both but don’t go for the college board one…just get that one if you want actual tests to take but then again the PR and Kaplan also have tests at the back
The best book you can buy is the actual review book put out by collegeboard.. the blue huge thick one. To get really high if not perfect scores on standardized tests doesn’t actually require knowledge. You just need to be so used to the format/style of the questions that when you take the real thing, it feels like you’ve seen all these questions before and they’re simply reworded. This might not make too much sense now but when you take the test for real, you’ll understand. It depends on the individual but it might take as many as 50 to as few as 1 practice test to get accustomed to it..
Princeton Review. The collegeboard book may have tests which are official SAT tests but the Princeton Review books has tests which are more difficult and they give you explanations at the end of each SAT practice tests as to why the choice you picked was wrong and how the correct answer was achieved.
I trust princeton review.
