Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
My goal is to improve my SAT score by 700 points. What is the best way I can reach that goal? What prep really helps?
Any advice is great!
I would say that you study everyday for at least an hour, instead of cramming everything at the end. Do a few sections each day, such as math one day or an hour, next thing is critical reading, etc, after see where your score ranges from, and how much improvement you need. The next days, along with testing yourself for an hour each day, I would say, you practice the math problems you didn’t get by asking someone for help and catching hte simple mistakes that you tend to make. Also reading a book of higher level than you are used to, for critical reading will help, looking up words that you don’t understand and adding it to your daily vocabulary is also a great way. Some SAT prep books, such as Barrons have flash cards along with the book, studying a few vocabulary words a day, and testing yourself when you are walking to class, or eating dinner, will also help. Good Luck! If you have any more questions or tips, feel free to ask
