Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I’ve been using the test drive on my laptop for Word and it’s about to expire. I need something else that I can use to take and store notes, even just for another 30 days of test driving. My university won’t get the actual Office suite that I’m wanting for a while yet, so I need anything that I can a least test drive for free for a few more weeks or so.
It needs to be something I can write notes, and preferably papers, in and save them for as long as the test drive lasts.
Anything resembling Office’s Word would be welcome. If possible, a link to where I can get it or find out more would be appreciated.
Thanks!

You could download "Open Office". It is an open source set of office tools that is free. http://www.openoffice.org If you choose Open Office, be advised that it is a rather large download and should probably be done on a machine that is connected to broadband.

Or you could use one of the online office suites offered by Google or IBM, etc.

    go to http://www.openoffice.org

you can download it for free, its just like Word and it is compatible with any word documents that you already have. It is a great program i use it for Word, Excel, etc., all the time.

If all you are doing is keeping notes and using windows you already have wordpad as a windows program. It doesn’t have all the neat stuff word has but it is free and will work to keep notes. It is under your programs/accessories.
