Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Also, can someone help me to know about SAT(Reasoning/Subject),PSAT,CLEP like differences/advantages, when to take and preparation guidelines for 8th graders
A good score would be like an 1800, if you include the writing section. The PSAT just helps to practice. In your junior year, though, it really means something because with the results of that exam, you will compete for scholarships. To take any of these exams in the eighth grade, you need a talent pass from the College Board, which proves that you are eligible to take the exam.
You don’t take any of those tests in 8th grade. You’ll take the PSAT in 9th or 10th if you want and then SAT or ACT in 11th. You’ve got time.
It depends what you’re aiming for when it comes to what a "good" SAT score is… If you’re just trying to scrape by a good enough score to get into a 4-year college, I’d say a 1700 out of 2400 is a good score. But if you’re trying to get into Harvard or Princeton, you’d stand a better chance if your score were around 2300. No less than 2100 will do if you’re trying to get into an Ivy League.
Since you’re still in 8th grade, you have plenty of time to prepare for the SAT. You don’t have to take the SAT until 11th and 12th grade, so don’t worry about it. Good luck when you take them in the future!
I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
