Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Does anyone have any suggestions or success stories? Is the collegeboard online course good? What about Princeton Review?

Collegeboard is the GREATEST book ever. It has the exact tests that were made by the testmakers themselves. It is the best period.
The Princeton Review is also a very good source to use too. The test formats in the Princeton Review is like that of the tests. It REALLY helpfull too.
However, dont use Kaplans or especially Barrons. Barrons is bad. They just complicate things and make everything worse. Kaplan’s tests are not like the exact tests too.
So just use the Collegeboard and Princeton Review. (You might want to go to their websites to take a free practice test)

Ask your school counselor. They have a lot of good information.

I took the PSATS, that helped a little to understand what to expect. Also taking the practice test that came along with the materials for the SAT helped. The College Board website also has some practice questions on their site. Now I took the SATs a few years ago, so I didn’t have to deal w/ the writing part.
