what does SAT means? like what the S,A,T, stands for? i know that this is a kind of a test for the preparation

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.

From 1901 to 1941, it stood for Scholastic Achievement Test.
From 1941 to 1990, it was the Scholastic Aptitude Test.
From 1990 to 1994, it was the Scholastic Assessment Test.
Now the meaning of the acronym is unspecified.
This test is not to be confused with the Stanford Achievement Test, which uses the same acronym.
