Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I’m going to take these tests in January: Math Level 2, Biology, and Chemistry or US History.
Which test relatively has a more lenient curve: chemistry or US history?
Chemistry does, the average score for the SAT II in chemistry is 20 points higher than the average score US history test. On another note, I saw both practice exams, and in my opinion, the chemistry test was MUCH, MUCH, easier.
On your main question though, I found that Barrons books are the best books for SAT subject tests (I have had all "major books" such as Kaplan, and Princeton review) because unlike Kaplan or Princeton review, the tests that they provide are a lot more challenging so the real test is a breeze, and the notes sections are much more comprehensive. If you are looking for a quick study, as your test is next month, I would use the Princeton Review because the review sections are really easy to follow. Kaplan is a no-go for me, and Franklin sux, lawl.
i went to barnes and noble and flipped through different ones to find the ones i liked best. i would recommend taking the literature test, too, on another day i guess. i didnt study at all and it was insanely easy.
‘Kaplan’ has very good books that can be bought at most big book stores like boarders for example
Kaplan everyone and their mother recommended it to me and it was great there also is a big red book "100 Real SAT" that is amazing! Us History is a cake walk!
Franklin computer makes a small hand help data device that helps you study for your sat’s, It helped my daughter a lot, It’s like a video game with questions/problems you solve and answer, which also gives you a score shown at the end of the quiz’s
you can look it up at http://www.Franklin.com
Under test preparation
There a little costly but on sale 28% off right now. ^_^
Chemistry and US history have very similar curves.
Math Level 2, biology, chemistry: use Princeton Review’s Cracking the SAT subject tests. The U.S. History one’s probably pretty good, too.
