What are some good SAT prep books?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I’m gonna be taking the SAT (reasoning test) in December and I have yet begun to study. What books have you tried and have actually helped? I’ve heard Gruber’s SAT prep is really good and Princeton is ok. Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

im taking the sat reasoining test in january and I’ve been using Kaplan and princeton review. I haven’t even looked at the princeton review book yet but both were highl recommended. So far I’ve only usd the Kaplan book. Both explain why you get your answer wrong and the Kaplan book has practive tests in the back. DOn’t get the collegeboard book..I’ve heard its really bad
I really like the McGraw Hill book. It does a very good job of explaining the material on the test and the kinds of approaches that you need for a high score. It also give great advice for exactly how to study for the test.
If you want more practice, the Princeton Review 11 SATs book is great. (I’m not a huge fan of the Princeton Review strategies, but they write great practice tests!) I also like the Kaplan 12 SATs book. The collegeboard book is good, but the downside is it doesn’t come with explanations.
The Official SAT Study Guide (it’s blue and orange) by the College Board is good for actual tests (since the College Board is the organization that writes and gives the SAT).
