Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

What is the best way to prepare for the SAT by yourself. Its not that I cant afford tutors, its just that I don’t have the time. What are different ways I can prepare for the SAT?

Always practice different books because they help you boost up your scores. Practicing only one book is not enough. It gains your knowledge like 5-10% of your brain juice.

Buy the SAT test prep booklet. And do the problems to get familiar with the questions. Practice daily*** and make sure you do some tests where you time yourself just like the real test! Good luck!
During the test, my tutor told me to bring a watch (not a digital one). And it was very useful. Because during the test you can lose track of time. So every time you start a new section of the test you set the time at the top of the hour so then you’ll know how much time you have left. I don’t know if that made sense. But yeah good luck! I hated the SAT’s so much!

Practice tests. You can get books of them from Barnes and Noble or online. I found them particularly helpful.

Get the big SAT prep book. It has practice questions (w/ explanations), and practice tests you can time yourself with.

If you do not have the money then you can go to the library and study from their books and copy practice test from their book. Try the princeton review DO NOT USE KAPLAN. I scored a 2200. Kaplan didnt help me one bit and it confused me a lot. There are also websites that offer free practice test. Just google it i forgot the website i used. Hope i helped. Good Luck!
