Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

For a quick review of strategies and last minutes techniques and important concepts, use Kaplan’s SAT Review (it’s a small green book).

The best overall review book is College Board’s SAT I Review. It goes over concepts you will definitely need to know and also breaks the subject areas down by how often they appear on the test. For example, the math section first goes over basic skills you need, and then gets into details for those who are aiming for top scores. It also has short review quizzes, and practice tests at the end. There are answers with explanations for the critical reading part that really help you understand how the test asks questions. (These are also organized by type – mood questions, detail questions, inference questions, etc.) The writing section hits all the grammar concepts on the actual SAT.

Your Princeton Review book w/ 11 tests will be a great help after you have gone over the concepts in the College Board book. Try to sit down and time yourself, avoiding breaks, so that you can simulate the actual test situation to better prepare you.

    - You can get any of these books at stores such as Border’s, Barnes & Nobles, or even sometimes at discount stores like Walmart and Target. Good luck!

You can just use the College Board’s SAT prep magazine that should be available for free in your counseling center.

Another good resource is the College Board’s website. You can join the SAT word of the Day email group.

And you can practice for free on the University of California Free SAT Test Prep. Just google that line, and it will come up.

    Good luck!

I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
