Most colleges and universities in the United States accept the SAT as a primary means of evaluating an applicant’s potential. Performance on this particular test also influences universities’ decisions regarding the conferral of merit-based scholarships or fellowships. In short, the SAT is one of the most important tests of a high school student’s life. As a result, SAT preparation is crucial for success in the college application process. Without a decent score, an applicant can forget about getting into his or her dream school. That is why SAT test preparation is so important. Without the guidance of a good SAT prep course, a student has a greater chance of doing poorly. Because of a poor score, the student might not get a scholarship, which could help him pay for a large portion of his education. These scholarships are becoming more crucial to students as higher education expenses continue to rise. Sometimes, spending a few extra dollars for a great course can mean the difference of several hundred points on a student’s SAT score.
