Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I took my SAT’s for the first time as a sophomore this december. My results were as follows; 570-Reading, 590-Math, 510-Writing 8-essay. My goal score is a 2100 for my last time. For this test I didn’t prepare at all so that I would have a baseline. Will a private tutor help me to rise my score? When should I get it in the middle of my junior year or this year? Are the tutors as helpful as everyone says as well?

PostHeaderIcon What is the best SAT prep class?

Hello. I’m looking at SAT prep classes because I wish to increase my score. I was thinking of getting a private tutor because I think I need the one-on-one attention or maybe a smaller class of like 4-8 students. I already took the Kaplan course and my score went up 200 points during the course, but on the actual test, it returned to the original score. So, I was wondering what is the best course? I was looking into Sylvan, Huntington, Revolution Prep, The Princeton Review, or just finding a tutor.

Any suggestions?

PostHeaderIcon What’s the best way to prepare for the SAT?

I’m taking the SAT in October and was planning on studying on my own with some prep books I bought. The only thing is, I don’t know where to start. Where should I start that would best lead me in the right direction? Also, what does a private tutor do for its students, so that I could follow the same path for studying?

PostHeaderIcon SAT Tutoring?

I just took my SAT’s in June and scored a 1580. The testing conditions were horrid, 95 degrees with 90% humidity on the third floor, UGH! I know I’m capable of at least an 1800. My math scores are my real weakness though. I need to find a good tutoring program or even a private tutor. Where is a good place to look or advertise?
