World History AP & SAT subject test / 2/ II?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Hey I took the World History AP test about mid May and now I am signed up for the World History SAT II. The thing is I just started taking the test on the REA preparation book for SAT II and it is much much much harder and specific then what I encountered on the AP exam. Is the SAT subject test really more specific then the AP test?
Thanks for answering
to first poster, Yeah I know AP classes really are useless, like it doesn’t help only makes it easier to register for classes. But it sort of looks better for colleges along with a GPA boost.
to 2nd poster:……………………………..
to 3rd poster: Yeah like what the heck is the Velvet Revolution I learned nothing that specific and the AP test multiple choice was nothing like that. I didn’t even bother to score my 1st practice test because I did so badly and knew like crud. Hopefully it will be more AP oriented multiple choice.
how can i do as well on the sat as people who take a prep course?
i am a junior in high school, and all these people i know are taking sat prep courses. my parents don’t think i need one because i’ve always been a very good standardized test taker, i did very well on the psat sophomore year, and they’re a lot of money for something i can really do by myself. when people take a prep course what do they learn, how many practice tests do they take, what do they work on, etc? should i even bother to follow what a prep course would do if i just have a few trouble areas (the writing multiple choice and the harder math problems)?
All day SAT preparation study suggestions?
I want to have an intense study and practice session tomorrow for the upcoming SAT. I was thinking of working on reviewing for 4 to 5 hours. My strength is in math and my weakness is in multiple-choice writing. How and what should I spend my 5 hours studying? For example, should I work out of the study book for a while or take practice tests? Thanks!
Is it still possible to get a perfect 800 on the math section of the SAT while omitting a few questions?
Hey. When i took the SAT, I omitted four questions in the math section (2 multiple choice and 2 student-response grid-ins). Is it still possible to get an 800 on the math section if I got all of the other questions right? Thanks.
How do you figure out your SAT score from your individual scores?
I just got my SAT scores in the mail and it does not have the final score anywhere on the paper. I got my scores for each subject like math, writing, essay, multiple choice, and critical reading. My question is how do you figure out the final score from these individual scores? Do I just add them up? Help!
SAT scores?
I’m an international student and planning to study my undergraduate in the US, I took the SAT a few weeks ago and I wasn’t so fast and left so many questions unanswered. today I got my scores online and it’s like that
critical reading: 410
math: 480
writing 480 multiple choice 51, essay 6
do you think I can get into a state university with these scores?
does anyone know how to get a combined score, is it 1370 or 1427?
