SAT Questions

What are some good programs to prepare for the SAT’s over the summer? I would like it to be some sort of program that i do work at home, but i also go and work with somebody or a group 1-2 times a week. Lets say money is not an option. Help me find a place to prepare for the SAT’s this summer.

I want to have a laptops altough a used laptops to support my small bussines in llink bussines. Now, I’m being a poor man and I want to be a rich man through this bussines. And then if I have to becomed a rich man I want to distribute my money to poor parents
in order to make their childs go to school.

i am a junior in high school, and all these people i know are taking sat prep courses. my parents don’t think i need one because i’ve always been a very good standardized test taker, i did very well on the psat sophomore year, and they’re a lot of money for something i can really do by myself. when people take a prep course what do they learn, how many practice tests do they take, what do they work on, etc? should i even bother to follow what a prep course would do if i just have a few trouble areas (the writing multiple choice and the harder math problems)?

I’m a high school junior and I’m taking the SAT probably in May.
I’ve never done any PSAT or SAT prep course before, but I have taken the PSAT twice. First score was 176, second was 181.

So should I take any SAT prep course at all? TestTakers is doing a program at my school, and it’s slightly over 1k. Has anyone heard of it and can tell me if it’s worth the money? What about the Princeton Review course? How much is that one in comparison to TestTakers?

English is not my first language ,but unluckily i have to take the SAT in May , this will be my second time to take it ,and probably my last chance,cuz i have to go back to my country pretty soon ,the first one is terrible (with the reading 250 ,writing 380,and math 700) ,but i need a high score (above 2000) for a good university .

i know i only have one month left but i want my family and myself happy about my SAT ,and i will try my best ,SO do you think a SAT Prep Course is necessary for me or you have some other good idea ,please help me ,since this this very important to me .

because of the time schedule and my position ,now the only one avilable is Sylvan ,about 5, 20 hours .who know about this learning center ,will it help me about my english in SAT in only one month
i can afford 5 , but it is still not a small number of money to me .
what i am concerned is that class ,will it help me .and my biggest problem is the vocab ,but that class didnt seem have too much about vocab .
that class is mostly for the local americans which dont have to much vocab problem

I’m specifically looking for a program where it says out loud the vocabulary word, then its definition… so I can study during the night when I’m sleeping because I have no other time to do so…

Which is the best, and most "worth-the-money" course in preparing for the SAT?
Is the Kaplan course better than the Princeton Review course?

I am a senior in high school and am trying to make it easier on my parents by searching for and contributing some money toward a new laptop. I’m planning on using it for a while, through college, etc. Is a used laptop a better choice at this point?

I was surprised to see that Kaplan’s SAT test prep costs over 0 for 12 prep classes. I’m also aware of the study guides at bookstores and College Board prep sites, but want the best preparation for the test.

Is the Kaplan test prep worth the money? Have you taken it and did it benefit you? If so, how?

The one that I was looking at costs about 1000, but i only have around 500. The people at Best Buy told me the card currently had a deal of 24 months no interest. My birthday is coming up in about 3 weeks. I need a computer for school, but would rather not give up all my money at once.

i’m taking the SATs in december and was wondering if just studying multiple amounts of prep books on my own is okay. or would a prep class be good? i just don’t want to waste money on something that won’t really help.

my daughter wants a 1 on 1 sat private tutor. i know it is expensive but i believe it is worth the money for her education. i wanted to know what company has the best private tutors such as testmasters or princeton review or kaplan? or more specifically in the southwest houston/ sugar land area? but if i use a tutor from a company, what would be the best one to choose?

I found a study aid online called SAT Tutor in a Box. Does anyone know if it’s legit? It sounds like a really great program but it’s 0. I don’t want to waste my money, so I’d like to know if it actually works.

I am a college junior and I have never had the money to buy my own laptop for school. Finally, due to hard earned scholarships this semester I am receiving 00 in a refund check and I want (really need) to buy a laptop for the rest of undergrad and graduate school. I would like to know what is the best (most reliable, fast, less likely to crash, and will survive graduate school) laptop to buy

Almost everyone I know is taking a SAT score. Is it worth the money? Can I do just as good if I used several study guides and take a lot of practice tests?

i need a online sat bio test prep. they need to be legit sites and money is not an issue.

I took the May 2009 test and was very disappointed in my scores. Someone suggested that I try Kaplan. Personal experiences are appreciated, I’m looking for a lot of feedback. How much did your score increase? Was the program personalized? Is it worth the money?

For those who have taken the AT-SAT, how hard was it? What did you think of the questions?
Also, are you STILL waiting to hear back about hiring and being able to go to the next step in Oklahoma? If not, how long did it take and what did you do for money during that period?

I’m a junior and I’m taking the SAT in the spring. I want a good score and i feel the best way for me to go about doing it is from the prep course because i feel i learn the best while I’m in a class. Ive heard the course at my high school isn’t very good. I’ve heard good things about Kaplan. Has anyone taken the Kaplan course? Is it any good? Have you heard good things about the course? Is it worth the money?

all the sites i found either cost money or only have a few questions. Where can i find bulk questions for free so i can practice? thanks
