PostHeaderIcon SAT Subject Test prep help?

Well, I’m going to be taking the SAT Subject Tests for Math Level 2 and Physics and I would like to know which prep book (for both subjects) out of these three is the best: Kaplan, Princeton Review and Barron’s. Can you please give me your opinions on each company’s prep book for each individual subject and/or your experiences using them?

Thanks!

PostHeaderIcon I’m taking the SAT in january and wondering which SAT prep is better?

I went to Huntington and took their practice test and got a 1520 without studying or anything. i know its bad. but i was wondering which one is better Huntington Learning Center SAT private tutors or Revolution Prep classes?
i heard revolution was cheaper and huntington is about 1,300 dollars. i just want to know which one is better and if u have experiences with either one, how it went and if it helped you?

i def. need help with preparation because I have nooo idea what to study and how to.

PostHeaderIcon Best SAT subject test Prep books for Physics, French, and U.S. history?

I’ve heard that Barron’s is the most difficult…is it unecessarily difficult or does the extra difficulty help you do better on the exam? I’m hoping to get 700+ in U.S. and Physics and 600+ in French.

What are your experiences with each book and which do you think is the best?

Also, how hard is the French test (if you’ve taken it)?–I’m in IB french (equivalent to AP French or 5th year in French), but I’m only mediocre at French.

PostHeaderIcon SAT/ACT prep courses: Helpful? Waste of money? Necessary? What were your experiences?

My parents have been pressuring me to take an SAT prep course as well as an ACT prep course. I feel like they are too much money. I have bought prep books and have been taking practice tests. I was wondering what everyone’s experiences were with SAT prep classes.

Would just using books and studying a lot suffice? I need to save money
