I’m talking about The Official SAT Study Guide by The College Board

I’m taking the SAT next year as a junior and right now im about to take the PSAT in 2 weeks, should I buy this book? or will they publish a new one soon?

I was surprised to see that Kaplan’s SAT test prep costs over 0 for 12 prep classes. I’m also aware of the study guides at bookstores and College Board prep sites, but want the best preparation for the test.

Is the Kaplan test prep worth the money? Have you taken it and did it benefit you? If so, how?

i heard college board and princeton review is good but idk which one to get! i am a freshman but want to start studying ahead of time so i can get a great score, thanks!

For example, which brands are preferred over the others? College Board, Kaplan, Princeton Review, etc, and why?

I have a 2007 SAT/ACT/PSAT prep software from Kaplan, and I was wondering if it’s still good for this year.

Are the practice tests in the collegeboard official online SAT course the same as the ones in the book?

i know this is in the wrong section but i really need help about this question.

I have looked up Kaplan, Princeton Review, and SylvanPrep, and have pretty much narrowed it down to pick between those three. OF those which one would you pick to prepare for the 0ct 14 2006 test, and why? Please be detailed, provide details from your own experience, and provide pros/cons. Also, what books would be ideal to supplement the course in my free month of August? I have heard a great deal about Princeton Review books and the College board guide, but are they actually helpful? Again, please provide details from personal experience and pros/cons and perhaps suggestions I may have not heard of yet. As always, I will handpick the winner of the 10 points on the factors of quality, length, and fulfillment of the entire question. Thank you in advance for your time and thought.

I was just wondering about this, since I’ve heard countless times that the questions in the College Board’s Official SAT Study Guide are a bit easier than the ones on the real test. I’m using this guide right now to study for my upcoming SAT exam, but I was also thinking about signing up for the online course for additional practice. I just want to make sure before I go about and waste .

This may be off topic but: Does anyone have any good tips to studying SAT Math? I’ve been practicing questions and reading guides, but I was wondering if there was something additional that I could do to boost my score.

I’m taking the SAT this fall and i was just wondering if there were any books that worked out really well for some of yall but im using the college board book right now and i have this REA SAT book. An actual test prep book, not just the big book published by College Board that only has 1 practice test in each subject, with no review or stuff like that.

I am giving SAT this year and would like to know If I am using the right books for this. If Not Please recommend the books Which I should use..
1) The Official SAT study guide by the college board
2)Answers and explanation by Peter Tanguay
3) Princeton Review

Are the 8 practice exams in The Official SAT Study Guide same as the practice exams in the College Board’s Online SAT Course?

I have several practice tests, the college board, and old version of barrons and kaplan to study for the SAT II World History. How close are the scores you get on these to the actual scores on the SAT II?

Is the College Board provided practice test for the Bio SAT really real tests? I found that on their practice test, I scored much higher than on the practice tests of Barron, Kaplan, Sparknotes

So, I applied to some college already and I have already send in my application.
In my application I have already typed my sat scores and sat II scores in.
So, do I still need to send in my sat and sat II scores to them directly from college board?

I just took these two SAT II tests last Saturday and I feel pretty good about them, but I was just wondering how many questions College Board generally allows you to miss (or omit) and still get an 800. When do they begin to take points off from a perfect score?

I’m just curious to know. I have been looking through different ones and I feel that the college board study guide is the most sufficient because they create the test, but I want some analysis from past psat/sat takers and see what helped them get their highest scores.

on college board, i am answering questions from like 2 months.
the questions of the day, so my question is Are those questions of the day are similar to Sat Questions?
are they that hard and easy?

I just sent in my SAT scores and my application is due in a week but the College board states that my college might not receive it for 1-2 weeks. Is that okay or will they not accept my application?

If you have taken the SAT test recently please share your experience by telling us what you would have done differently. Were there any surprises? Were the questions harder than the ones administered by the College Board test book? Were they easier than the ones provided by Barron’s prep book?

Hi. I had taken the SAT’s before, but did really bad on them. I want to know what are the best and most helpful prep books out there that can help me increase my scores. I can’t decide between Princeton Review, Kaplan, College Board. I’m trying to get into a really good school.
