I am a smart student (3.8 GPA with AP/honors classes) but my SAT scores don’t reflect my intelligence. Advice?





I need help on the SAT. I am a smart student, but the SAT doesn’t seem to be my cup of tea. The sections that I struggle in are critical reading and writing. So, obviously, I am a math guy. Recent scores were 500 CR, 530 RE, 670 M. There is a big gap between the CR/WR and the M section scores. Any advice to how I can prepare overall in all sections to level out my scores? What are the best books to prepare? Should I consider a SAT tutor? Any suggestions are welcome.

what are the best ap prep/sat subject prep books?

next year, i’m planning to take ap calculus ab, ap language and comp, ap biology, and ap us history. what would be the best ap prep books for these subjects? im also planning on taking SAT subject tests for math level 2, us history, and biology. what would be the best books for these subject tests or can i use my ap prep books for them?

I’m a sophomore in high school who is very determined to do well in the PSAT and the SAT. I just wanted to know the best books/study guides available for the PSAT and SAT preparations. Please tell me which ones are good and whether you were able to get good SAT/PSAT scores with the book.

SAT Preparation Stress!?

What are the best ways to study for the SAT tests? Specifically, the best books, preparatory courses, practice tests, helpful studying website sources, etc, etc, etc…Do I need to take the PSAT? Please help, all you high SAT scorers!!! :)

By the way, I live in California and I hope to attend USC, UCLA, Stanford…? So if you have info on required GPA & SAT scores, that would be helpful…

I’m taking the Chemistry SAT II. Which test prep book should i use to prepare?

I’m taking honors Chemistry in 10th grade. I’m sure that the Kaplan, Barron’s, and Princeton Review are the best books to review with. I need to know the best one. Please state your choice whether it is fact or opinion and also a few pros and cons to back up your claim. Any links you can provide regarding this would be useful.
