Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I am going to buy a study guide book to help me on the SAT which I will be taking in the Fall;however, I am not sure which one to get. Does anyone know which book is better..either "The Princeton Review’s: Cracking the SAT, 2009 edition" or "College Board’s: Official SAT study Guide" I just need a book that will help me do better on the SAT. I am determined to study a lot this Summer!! Also please tell me why the book you chose for me is better…Thx alot!!
Personally, I prefer the College Board’s: Official SAT study Guide because it has much more practice tests than the Princeton Review study guide. Also, the tests in the College Board book is more reliable and authentic.
But The Princeton Review is also good if you’re looking for advice in taking the test.
So I guess it depends on what you want. If you want a lot of sample tests to practice on, get the College Board’s: Official SAT study Guide.
Otherwise, get the Princeton Review if you’re looking for advice.
I’ve always liked Princeton’s, its less cut and dry, an easier read if you plan to read the helpful sections in the beginning. Princeton’s also has exceptional answer explanations in the back.
If I were you, I would actually get 2 or 3 different books.
