Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Like I took one today on the SAT online course and here is my range.

Writing 660 – 790
(MC: 62-64, Essay: 12)

Critical Reading 580 – 640

Math 570 – 650

If that was the REAL SAT, what would be my score?

  • setsunaluvr says:

take the average of each section.

    you got
    715
    610
    610

it’s about a 1940. i suggest that you allow for 50 points either way on writing since it’s graded by humans. and i don’t know how much each question is worth, but on your hardest section (math), pretend you got 3-5 more wrong and see how that would affect the score. that would show a basic "worst-case scenario"

  • Microphone Fiend. says:

What you would do is take the two scores (highest to lowest range) and add them up, then divide them by two.

    For example your math score would be: 570+650 = 1220/2 = 610
    Reading score = 580+640 =1220/2 = 610
    Writing score (which is extremely inaccurate) = 660+790 = 1450/2 = 725 or 720

    Overall score = 1940.
    Math and reading = 1220.

You could get into a lot of colleges with that score, just not the Top 20, if you want top 20 caliber scores I say aim for a 650 or above on reading and math.
