Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Is the extra money worth it? Or should I buy a regular pc laptop? I’m going to use the laptop for school, music, photos, etc. Which one do you recommend?
I’m in high school

MACs are better for multimedia, PC’s are better for compatibility with what schools use.

i have a macbook and i’m absolutely in love with it.

macs have SIGNIFICANTLY lower numbers of viruses and problems, apple reps at apple stores (and online help) are very accomodating, and ALL macs i’ve ever used are incredibly user-friendly.

i’m obsessed with music and pictures, and i’m a freshman in college. i have yet to be disappointed with my mac.

also i should mention i’m a first-time mac user (i had a pc before this) and i can tell you:
    1. it was SO easy to learn how to use and
    2. i will NEVER use a pc ever again. :)

Macbook of course. As all the macbook people said, it does get less virus plus the programs are awesome! In addition, the people who hate the macbook, have they actually bought a macbook?

windows vista pc labtop. It has new programs that are specifically designed to help make that kinda stuff way better.

I have a PC and a Mac. The PC is fine, but since purchasing the Mac, I rarely use my PC. My mac is superior in the arts department (i.e. photos, video creations etc..) It’s also very low (no) maintenance, and simple to use.

    Just my two cents..

Pc because it is a pain in the neck to convert files if you need them for school.

PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO MAC FAN BOYS WHO SAY THEY DON’T GET VIRUSES.Please do not listen to them.Macs are susceptible to viruses just like windows are.

Funny how Apple recommended you get anti virus eh?Too bad they took it down 24hours after THEY posted it.

Also Macs are what..200% more expensive if not more.

This is a question that is probably going to start some kind of mini-war, but I’ll throw in my two cents:
I recently purchased a mac laptop and I love it. However, I have a Macbook, because I couldn’t justify the extra cost of a Macbook pro since they were soooo much more expensive. I think that for what your using it for, I really love the photo program on the Mac, as well as the movie making software, which can be used for slideshows etc. Really, it comes down to personal preference, but I would say the Mac would be targeted more toward the home/artistic use… while a PC with windows, has almost always been more enterprise oriented.

    Macbook all the way!!!!!!!
Since you mentioned that you’re going to use it for school, music, photos, etc., I can guarantee that you’ll like the Macbook better. The Mac OSX operating system is very easy to use and the laptop is reliable. MACS ALMOST NEVER GET VIRUSES! You will love applications like iPhoto, iTunes, iMovie, iCal, and the others that come standard.
