Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I am a junior-to-be in the upcoming school year and I have no idea what to do to prepare for this. So that’s basically the question. What should I do to prepare myself for the ACT/SAT?
First you might want to check and see if your school offers some sort of SAT/ACT prep class. My school offers them. You can also seek tutors, get study books, take practice tests online…there are many things you can do to prepare yourself for the SAT/ACT. It doesn’t have to be through the school (although that couldn’t hurt). Any extra study time is better than no study time.
Sign up for Barrons online, they have a very good program for only $20.
You can buy prep books and such, but I didn’t do any of that. You should get a packet, when you register I think, with a couple sample questions so you can see the format. I just looked them over the night before and I did fine. Course I wasn’t too worried about it, I’ve always done well on tests. And remember, you can always retake them if you do poorly. If you’re worried however, I wouldn’t waste your money on official books or prep classes-maybe get together with friends, flip through a dictionary, thesaurus, pull out old math notes, basically make up questions and quiz each other. Good luck
go buy princeton review study books….but better yet a tutor would help…..
do anything and everythng you can for these test (study for 6 months or more, pay attention, …)
