SAT score and college math course placement?

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

What is the minimum SAT math score to be placed into precalculus at a community college? Also, if a math score of 530 exempts you from taking the placement test, what math classes are you placed in based on score starting at 530 on up?

It varies by college based on the courses they offer, the average SATs of the local student body, and a variety of other factors. The only thing you can safely assume is that you won’t need to take algebra.
This is a question you will need to ask the community college in question. I suggest checking their math department’s website, their assessment testing office’s website, or their student handbook. Good luck.
