Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I’m taking the SAT reasoning test in a couple of months and I was wondering what the best ways of preparing for it are. I’ve already taken it once and got a 1850 without preparing at all so this time I want to be ready for it. Any tips? Thanks for the help.

You did really well for not preparing at all. I took the SAT without preparing and I got a 1700. I enrolled in one of Kaplan’s review courses and had to pay about 900 bucks for it. It was worthless and it didn’t improve my score at all. I used TutorFox.com’s sat guide to study. I also used the Princeton Review’s guide in order to improve my scores. With much practice and by thoroughly reading both books, I raised my score to a 2200+.

The best way to practice is by taking the practice tests. Go to Barnes and Noble or Borders and get a study guide. Or just search online for SAT prep.

buy a sat prep book (dr grubers or barrons) and consume the material. make sure you are constantly studying vocab and read in copious amounts (books, magazine articles).
