Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I’m starting my junior year in high school this fall
and i really want to do good this year so i can go to a good college.
when should i start purchasing books for the Sats to study from and when should i start signing up for classes and tutoring for the SATS?

The official SAT "Blue Book" from College Board (the org that makes the test) and probably the 2400 Club from Barron’s. Take a practice test first. If your score’s decent (higher than 2100), then you can probably self-study and be fine. If not, then try studying for a month, and if there’s no improvement, then sign up for classes. You should get started right away. You don’t want to be stuck taking the SAT right before college apps, and you’ll want to have extra time in case of a re-test.
