Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Okay this year it is going to be my time taking a SAT and i decided to take sat chem. I was wondering what mostly the problems are going to be based on due to your experiences. I know the books usually say 25% this and 15% that, but based on experience what do you think it most of the problems based on. And if anybody can tell me if sp orbital hybridization is on there, it would be extremely helpful. Any assistances will be appreciated. Thanks! :]

There were laboratory problems like knowing what lab procedure to use to separate mixtures.
You have to be able to identify reactions (redox, precipitation, combustion)
    Be able to predict products
Memorize all of the simple formulas like PV=nRT
Memorize a bunch of vocab like lattice energy, ionization energy
and know some descriptive chemistry like Potassium turns purple in a flame test.
I can’t remember if hybridization is on there. I think it is, but maybe I’m confusing it with the AP.
It’s seems like a lot of work, but if you’re doing well in your chemistry class, you should do fine.

sp orbital hybridization is college level. it won’t be on there if you aren’t in college.
