Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

Okay so I asked about Kaplan SAT Prep and everyone said no way!! ha but what about Princeton Review SAT Prep? I would go every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for a month and take a mock SAT test 4 times. I would go for 3 hours each time except for the days I take the mock test. Its 0 and my parents are willing to pay but is it worth it? Thank you everyone for your input :) )

Any test prep is worth it. Especially for the SATs. Some people find Kaplan more helpful than Princeton, but I personally feel Kaplan might be too easy. Overall, I like Princeton the best out of the three popular test prep books (Kaplan, Barron’s, Princeton Review) Princeton Review prep, to me, is right in the middle of Kaplan (which is too easy) and Barron’s (which is too hard and goes into more detail than you really need to know). Take the course;)

Here’s the thing: I actually took both when I was a junior in high school (I just graduated), and before I say anything, it definitely depends on where you live. I got a private tutor at Kaplan in Manhattan (It was about $750) and he helped me raise my score from a 1800 to almost a 2200 so I’d say Kaplan was definitely worth the money. I then took a Princeton Review course and found that it was useless. So, from personal experience, I’d try Kaplan, and the money is absolutely worth it.
    Hope this helps.

It’s not bad, but going to prep class is not really useful. It’s sometimes useless when you can’t get the hang of what the tutor is teaching.

I guess it is of great help than none. You could also visit the site I found, you could find help in looking for great review materials.

You already know the answer to this question. You are going to Princeton Review SAT Prep, but just want someone to tell you that "yes, a fantastic idea!"

To be honest, any prep is useless unless you put yourself to study hard. It can be self-teaching, private tutoring, or prep companies.

You can also ask this question on my message board. You will receive a very detailed answer. The link is in my profile.
