I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

Are the Princeton Review SAT practice test generally harder than the Sat and other prep books?
I took the Barron’s 2400 practice test and I got a score in the range of 1450-1520. I got a 1580 on the PSAT. I took the PR sat practice test and I got a 1210!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!… I’m so annoyed. Now I really dont know where I stand in terms of SAT performance.

Barron’s tests are ridiculously hard compared to the actual SAT.
Your best bet is to study from the blue collegeboard book as it is made by the actual sat makers.
However, if you feel you MUST use Princeton review… then i will tell you that their tests are SLIGHTLY harder than the actual SAT’s. Nothing compared to barron’s level of difficulty though
Barron’s SAT prep books are considered more difficult than the actual SAT exams and I agree too. However, Barron’s model tests are very decent and if you are aiming for 2000+ you definitely should give it a try. Princeton Review’s SAT tests are actually slightly easier than the actual exams. BUT, they have odd questions. Especially in Math sections. So you do really need to look out for those errors. What I would advise you to do is to use Barron’s along with the official study guide. If a particular section is giving you the trouble, you should use Barron’s Writing workbook for writing, Barron’s Math workbook for Math and McGrawHill’s CR for CR.
