Just bought a used laptop but has password How can I pass thru a password ?

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I need help on getting in on the laptop I just bought, it was used and I cant get a hold of the person I bought it from they have moved out of state already it was a college student and they are done with school so they moved back home its a gateway with windows vista on it PLEASE HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!

Try changing you r password settings in the bios screen. Some computers you turn on and at the bottom of the screen there is a choice to press a certain "F" key (usually F2). Youu might be able to chenge the ability to set a password in the first place in those settings. Good luck
try to build up the pc again, what i mean is give it a format using service pack 2 or 3 if possible and u will not only have a password free laptop but much faster laptop with no junk inside it that u don’t need

You bought a computer and didn’t see if it worked? Wierd. There is no way possible to break a password. You have to reinstall Windows.
Since you just bought it, I assume that you aren’t worried about the saved material that the other person had on it?
Why don’t you go for a full factory restore?
Start by shutting the computer off. Turn it back on and begin tapping F11. There will be a Black screen with white lettering. Select: Repair Windows. It will completely wipe the hard drive and reinstall all the stuff that was on it when it was first purchased. It’s called Out Of Box Experience. Just keep an eye on it and when it instructs you to do something, just follow the instructions and you will have a "brand new " laptop.
