Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Is the tutor fox SAT guide worth it? Answer if you’ve used it and improved only please.
It is OK for a general tutoring, but not for specifics. You should want to use probably Barron’s SAT prep book. It is more specific and helps you to diagnose, and improve your weak points. It is a little harder but that is good on the long run, because usually you can get a 50-120 point difference on EACH subject, or about a 150-360 point difference in total. I used Barrons, and got a 140 point difference in the Math section. Some editions includes about 200 something vocab flash cards, a extensive list of vocab that comes up frequently on the SAT. Also it gives hints, and many strategies to increase your score.
The Barrons SAT is available at Amazon for $12.91. Other editions that include a CD loaded with practice tests cost a about $20.
Basic Edition- $13

Also I recommend, using online SAT forum sites(that are free) to get people to help explain. Although, there are well explained answers on most SAT prep books. And also you should try tutoring if you have the time/cash.
Since it is only like ten bucks, I would say, Yes, it is worth it. But, if you are planning to master a certain subject, say calculating the area of a circle, then it would not be worth it. If you need individual attention, I suggest that you get a tutor from tutor dot com or Felicity Motivational Group. If you plan to study alone, then the tutor Fox would be worth it
