Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I heard that the Barron’s prep book is so much harder than the real thing that you can add 100 points to your score on Barron prep tests and that will be your real score on the SATs. It kindof makes sense, but is it true?
Barron’s testing books are usually harder than the actual test, so you feel more prepared for your exam. I wouldn’t really take the "add 100 points" too literally because I’ve seen people who do fine on the practice tests but actually think the test is too easy that they actually lose a lot of points for answering questions incorrectly. I remember taking their ACT practice test a few years ago and received a 34, but on the actual test I got a 36, so technically there might be some score indifference.
Yes, it’s true. Study hard. But don’t just rely on Barron’s.
