Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I go to an international school in Thailand, and they sold photocopied SAT study guides to the students for 500B(13USD), and few American published textbooks are fully photocopied and distributed to students. I was wondering if this is legal or not…If illegal, where can I contact to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

The only LEGAL way to photocopy textbooks, or even parts of them is by getting permission from the author through the publisher. It is highly unlikely you will get this permission, but if it is considered for the betterment of an underdeveloped country, you might get favoritism. Thailand, however, has something like a 98% literacy rate, so I can’t see Thailand qualifying for this special circumstance. Also, if the International School is for profit, not likely going to happen either. Violators are subject to a number of international laws and can be jailed, pay hefty fines, or both.
