Is Intel mobile Core 2 Duo better than Amd Turion X2 ?

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.

I’m going to buy a new laptop soon, and I’ve read some articles online about the AMD and Intel mobile processors. According to their tests, Intel Core 2 Duo outperformed Amd Turion X2 in any test environment. But laptops like Alienware Assassin series use Turion X2 and Acer Ferrari series use it too, and they claim that it is their top of the line system. So if Core 2 Duo is better, then why don’t the manufactures use it, rather than using Turion X2?

It’s Intel … of course not.
The Intel Core 2 Duo out performs the X2 and so id rather the Intel over AMD.
Basically what the manufactures do is going with what they think will suit there demands in there systems.
It’s totally up to the manufacture to use and not give a valid reason why.
I don’t know why , But i think Intel mobile core 2 is better
since you are buying a notebook soon & plan on investing on a good system, i thought i should chip in my 1 cent, lol
intel core duo nomenclature
t2x00 & t2x50 > 32 bit processors
intel core 2 duo
t5x00 & t7x00 > 64 bit processors
the t7x00 series stand out, cause of their awesome 4 mb l2 cache
t7200 > 2.0 ghz, 4 mb l2 cache, 667 mhz fsb
t7400 > 2.16 ghz, 4 mb l2 cache, 667 mhz fsb
t7600 > 2.33 ghz, 4 mb l2 cache, 667 mhz fsb
the turin tl-60 has 1 mb l2 cache, shared 512 kb per core at a clock speed of 2.0 ghz
the t7200 is enuf for most applicaions & the t7400 / t7600 are way too overpriced on date
companies don’t change their advertisements, so they would never confess that there is a better product around. btw, the Turion X2 was released considerably earlier than the Core 2 Duo.
you can trust those performance tests you’ve read, it’s true, the Core 2 Duo is the better CPU and not only this, it also has the much better power management, so the battery life will be significantly longer.
