Is a 1680 SAT score with no prep whatsoever a decent score?

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I took the SAT reasoning test in may and just got back my scores. my raw score was 1680. now, i did not prep for this test at all, mainly because i didn’t have time. i do plan on retaking the test later after some prep work to increase my score. so i’m just wondering if its good to get this score on my first try?

Yep I think that’s very decent for a first time score with no prep. Next test, with prep, you should do really really well. Congrats! It’s not easy for some of us, even with prep
Its pretty good for a first try. I didn’t prepare and got a 2120 on the March one.

It’s okay. I got a 1930 on the May SAT with no prep, and I don’t think, even with intensive prep/study, I can get a 2200 on the retake (which is a score you want to get into a prestigious or Ivy League school).
On the College Board site, it says that the average person only increases their SAT score by 40 points on their retake. So… good luck, and study hard for the retake.
