Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

So I just took the SAT practice test that was provided in my SAT book. I got a 1250 which I find to be a bit low. The thing is I didn’t study..I just used my knowledge from school. I’m taking the real thing soon. All my other friends got at least 200 points higher than me..So is 1250 (for someone who did not study) good?

The SAT has three sections and three scores, each on a scale of 200 to 800.
    Writing (200-800)
    Math (200-800)
    Critical Reading (200-800)

The average total score is approximately 1,538 points (520 in Math, 510 in Writing, and 508 in Critical Reasoning).
An average score is acceptable for most colleges and universities. However, some of the top schools will expect you to achieve an SAT score of 2,100 of more.
If I were you, with a bit more studying, I’d aim for a higher score next time around. But 1250 is fairly good. Just think how well you could do…if you studied!

1st_From your effort, it’s acceptable, and hopeful if you really want to improve it.
2nd_If you have enough condition, why don’t you just concentrate on study to upgrade yourself ? It’s the best way ! Of course, there’re many ways for you, but even though you didn’t study, still could get a 1250, I think you should try more to study, assert yourself, because you’re talented !!

You should really study next time. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.
