I’m taking the SAT in january and wondering which SAT prep is better?

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I went to Huntington and took their practice test and got a 1520 without studying or anything. i know its bad. but i was wondering which one is better Huntington Learning Center SAT private tutors or Revolution Prep classes?
i heard revolution was cheaper and huntington is about 1,300 dollars. i just want to know which one is better and if u have experiences with either one, how it went and if it helped you?
i def. need help with preparation because I have nooo idea what to study and how to.
Truthfully, I’d recommend neither. The commercial prep companies are SO expensive, and you’re likely to get more bang for your buck hiring a private tutor (you can find good ones in your area on http://www.wyzant.com). You’ll just need to do more prep on your own, then work with your tutor to get your questions answered. You want to work primarily from the College Board blue book and/or the College Board online course. Those are the only resources for REAL SAT’s – you just can’t know that practice questions from Revolution Prep are reliable! I also like http://www.word-nerd.com for vocabulary prep. Good luck!
