Honestly you could get a could standing laptop that can play the sims 2 for about 600 since you have to buy it with you’re own money I would suggest not custom making it because straight out the box at bestbuy or someplace else might be good though everyone is suggesting dell I’d suggest Acer, or if you want HP. What I suggest you do is look at the specs for the sims 2 and any other high profile game you’d like to play and kinda compare it if you’re getting the laptop make sure you have a good dual core proccessor at least 1.8 if you can get a 2.0 so you’ll always be up to speed as you’re buying a laptop now it’ll probably come with vista so get a good 2 gigs of ram laptops now-a-days you can get about 3 gigs for the same price. Make sure to search up the chipset/graphics card on the laptop to see if it can play the game or just search the laptop itself if you can get those results.
