Im a college student. I use a program called autocad. I wanted to buy a laptop, but i dont what all i should..

Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I want to buy a laptop for personal, school, and possibly business use..Im a college student, i live on my own, and i wanted to buy a good laptop so i can work on school projects using the autocad 2006 program as well as type a paper for english and pay bills online safely… Im also most likely will be listen to music, i know that its not good to download music to your computer so i have a zip drive that i download and transfer all my music with… The problem is i dont know what kinda of memory i need, and what is too much and too little in payment…I know anything cheap isn’t good, but there are such things as good deals… Please be specific, teenage male, college, girls, liquor, etc… = horrible memory. do the math. Thanks
i would find one with a decent videocard like higher than 7600go graphics .. 8600 would be better .. and about 2 gigs of ram … a decent screen resolution would probably help with autocad to ..

.
512 MB RAM, or more.
1.8 GHz dual core, or higher.
at least 64 MB dedicated graphic memory.
Windows XP!!!
The reason I said Windows XP, is because AutoCad 2006 will not work on Vista at all. If you want a Vista computer, you will have to upgrade to AutoCad 2007 or higher.
Well i can tell you that acer got some good deals they have dual core with 160 gb 2gb of ram for like $650 thats not bad. There is nothing wrong with downloading music you just have to downloaded from a good source if you plan to play some good games (not pinball or solitary) you should consider one with a dedicated video graphic card (nvidia 7600 go or ati 1600 for example) but go check them out at a circuit city or best buy even walmart got some good deals. but remember like you said you get what you pay for. Dell, HP, Compaq, Acer they are afordable with good deals

You should get a high quality Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092, especially for a college student. It is perfect for running Autocad. It is great for other things as well.
