Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I know the math section is out of 800 but my tutor told me to omit the last 2 questions of each math section. So I was wondering, what is the highest grade I can get on the math section if I use this strategy?

Not more than 700, if that. I missed two questions and scored 750. So for every question you miss, you lose 20-30 points. Omitting is probably a little less, but six would decrease your score a lot. And on the free response section you don’t lose points if you answer wrong, so why omit? The last two questions are not always the hardest anyway. Also, the tutor is not doing a very good job if he tells you to omit so many questions.
