I took a practice SAT and got a 2040 but I want to get like a 2300+. Should I go to a test prep class?

The princeton review is offering a 14 week course for like 0 and I’m wondering if I should take it. It’s about 60 dollars per each 3 hour class. Should I take it or should I just study at home? I didn’t really study much when I took the practice test.

Well if you think that it might help you then the lessons will pay themselves off. I took the really expensive class but my teacher was an unqualified college graduate (he showed us his tattoo).
It’s probably best if you take a prep class. Classes have instructors that have experience and they can teach you techniques that a book can’t. Math is fairly easy to raise your score in; you just need to practice. Verbal/CR is actually very difficult to raise your score in, but a 670 is way above average, so don’t sweat it. Writing isn’t looked upon as highly by colleges, so don’t worry about that as much either.
Honestly don’t pay too much attention to the writing most colleges and really good colleges don’t even take it under consideration. They see your score out of 1600 which you got a 1360. Which is not bad. If you want to get a 1500+ good luck its going to be fairly hard not for the math but for the critical reading as it is the hardest to improve. If it was me i would not waste 850$ on that course since you’re not too far away from your goal. Take more practice tests as soon as you can see the average score and if you are not satisfied then take the course but its much better if you try on your own to improve. Trial and error on your own have been proven to be a more efficient way to study so before going on wasting 850$ try harder to improve on your own.
