Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
I have the book CollegeBoard recommends to get but very nervious about math, anyway do you know if sat questions will be from the book or not….maybe similar ? Please if you know anything let me know. thanks.
They make up the questions themselves most of the time. In some instances, like on the verbal sections, they will adapt a passage and turn it into a test question or an abridged version with test questions. No, they will not use the exact questions from the book on the real exams. Usually the questions in the book have been taken from previous exams.
I have several older SAT full-length practice exams.
SAT questions are similar to the College Boards Official Book. The best way to do well on the test is to take every practice test in the book and check all of the answers you got wrong. There are certain types of questions on the test and when you take 8 practice tests you start to understand them, then all you have to do is plug in the numbers that you know. Use common sense and remember they will try to trick you, but if you are familiar with the test, you will understand the questions and you should do well. Learn the SAT inside and out and you should do well.
There are SAT prep. books available for purchase at your local book store that offer similar questions; also, you can go to "collegeboard.com" and sign up for the "SAT question of the day" to be sent to your email for daily practice! Good luck!
