Hi and welcome to my blog,
I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!
Okay I have done some research so I know what to look for I just want to know what brand seems to be good. What last longer, etc.? I want people that have these laptops to let me know how happy you are with your choice. Please be honest. I’ll will be also using the computer for home, some gaming, and dvds, etc. PLEASE help!
here are some laptops I have found interesting:
Dell Inspiron
Lenonvo Thinkpad T61
Mac Book Air
Sony Vaio
Which is best?
Avoid Dell. I’ve had terrable luck with their hardware breaking (or design flaws) and support really stinks.
I’m happy with my HP computer, it’s a dv2000t (intel version of the 2000).
I assume you mean college? Ask the college what they recommend/require and if you know your major ask that department if they require/suggest a certain computer. I had one university that said I would need a Tablet PC for my major.
alienware is the best way to go. you get what you pay for
IBM,HP,Sony are the better ones…
I use a HP and am happy with it
id always say go with mac, but if thats not first choice in ur books, go with hp, never go with dell
Hi get a HP Laptp thay are the best and they are 499 and canplay to simulator games and still be blazing fast
I recommend the HP dv5z or the 6700z personally. They can be had for ~$800 and offer great performance for the price. Your selection of games will be limited on the Mac, so I’d say Windows would be your weapon of choice.
Buy the MacBook, NOT the Mabook Air. As appealing as it is, it isn’t practical, it does not take CDS, which is a huge turnoff and i’m not sure about USB, but I have a Macbook and I ove it.
Check out the hp dv5z or the hp dv5t at hp.com. They are great for college. I will be handing over my Gateway to my mom so I can get one of the new HP laptops in the fall.
The HP Pavilion DV5000 laptop works incredibly. I have one myself and it feels very professional and it works very fast and in many places with the wireless as well. Personally, I think any computer you choose will work well as long as you don’t download music nor be a consistent user on myspace.
I got a free laptop from this site, I highly recommend it!
