Hi and welcome to my blog,

I opened this blog to help anyone who is preparing for his SAT.
I remember myself when I started - I was so lost and in such a panic.
Luckily I got this great SAT guide that helped me a lot . So study hard and good luck!

I have a motorola SB5120 Surfboard cable modem, I use this modem for my laptop to access the internet. I just recently got a xbox gold one month membership and i am trying to get online. I took the ethernet cable out of my computer to use it for xbox live, but every time I press test connection it fails. PLEASE HELP!!!

Make sure the ethernet cable is connected to the xbox and that the phone cable goes from your modem to the phone wall-jack, if that doesn’t work, try this: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/24115-42-xbox-connect-internet

I have a mortorola modem too ;) follow these steps grab a writing utensil a peice of paper.
Go on your computer and click start , then click run and type in CMD
Then a black screen should come up and type in ipconfig/all
Then all your ip adress and stuff should show up then write them all down and turn off your pc.
click stand by on the modem the button on the top off it.
unplug the ethernet cable from the modem
    then the power cable
After that plug the ethernet cable from your xbox360 to your modem
Then plug in the power cable. And go to your xbox 360 and go to set connection manually write down the stuff required like ip adress and dns servers and click test connection it should still fail, then click restore factory defaults and boom you’re on xbox live.
